Allusion Poem DRAFT

This Poem is based on the Disney character Woody

Growing up,
i was confused and lost.
Not knowing what was real and what wasn't.
Now with friends in my life,
I found happiness.

Someone to play with.
Someone to laugh with.
Someone to grow with.

When you need me i'll be there,
supporting you in whatever you do.
I'll never give up on you.
You've got a friend in me.

I now know my limits,
where i stand,
and my role.
I'm brave and smart,
like any other cowboy out there.
I am a leader.

  1. hello kevin!! :D
i realllly like your poem! its super creative and i can see how it can relate to you. I especially like the "You've got a friend in me" part. I also likeed how the poem built up to the part about being a leader and a cowboy (: this was a really good draft, and i dont think you need to change anything!

  2. I like it. Its super cute and I think a lot of people can relate to your poem. I also like the "you've got a friend in me" part because it is super well known and one of the main things that gave away your allusion. Actually that and when you talk about the cowboy is the only real obvious hints, maybe you could add some cowboy sayings or something to add less obvious hints. And like i told you earlier, Woody is a SHERIF not a cowboy!!!!! everybody knows that. I think thats it, overall good job (:
